Wood Working with Traditional Tools
We have developed a passion for traditional wood working tools – the shaving horse, the draw knife, the axe, the froe, the pole lathe, the chisel. When building the gathering shed, we used a draw knife to remove the last of the bark from the shed poles. Watch those who know how or have a go yourself. We will have a “bodger’s hovel” with wood working stations set up for you to practise on your own.
